Shah Amanat International Airport

History & Background

Shah Amanat International Airport traces its aviation history to the Second World War airfield at Patenga. It later developed as Chattogram's civil airport and was renamed Shah Amanat International Airport on 2 April 2005. The airport handles domestic and international flights and supports the economy of the port city.
