History & Background
Opened in 2013 in Radhanagar, Kamalganj upazila near Sreemangal — known as the "tea capital of Bangladesh" — Grand Sultan Tea Resort & Golf was built as the region's first large-scale five-star property, spread across tea estate land about four hours' drive from Dhaka. Its 133 rooms, four meeting rooms, and golf course have made it a popular venue for both leisure travelers and corporate events in the Sylhet tea belt.
