How to Reach Nilphamari

By train

Saidpur is a major railway junction on the Parbatipur–Chilahati line. Intercity trains from Dhaka Kamalapur include Nilsagar Express (running to Chilahati via Parbatipur, Saidpur, Nilphamari, and Domar), Chilahati Express, Simanta Express, Titumir Express, Rupsha Express, and Barendra Express (from Rajshahi). Journey time from Dhaka is roughly 8–9 hours; check Bangladesh Railway's current timetable before travel.

By air

Saidpur Airport, about 3 km from Saidpur town, is the busiest regional airport outside Dhaka, served by Biman Bangladesh Airlines, US-Bangla Airlines, Novoair, and Air Astra.

By bus

Nabil Paribahan and Hanif Enterprise both serve this route (part of the wider Dhaka–Rangpur–Dinajpur–Thakurgaon–Panchagarh–Nilphamari corridor). Road distance from Dhaka is roughly 370 km, with a bus journey of about 8–9 hours.
