How to Reach Kurigram

By train

Kurigram Express runs direct daily except Tuesday between Dhaka and Kurigram: departs Kurigram 7:10 AM, arrives Dhaka 5:05 PM; departs Dhaka 8:00 PM, arrives Kurigram 5:10 AM the next day (roughly 9–10 hours, 405 km via Rangpur, Parbatipur, Joypurhat, Santahar, and Natore). Rangpur Express also serves the Dhaka–Kurigram route. Note: the historic extension toward Chilmari is not currently usable all the way to Chilmari town — the original Chilmari station washed away in Brahmaputra flooding in the early 1970s, and today's trains run only as far as Ramna Bazar station, as a single slow daily local service.

By bus

Nabil Paribahan operates a direct Dhaka–Rangpur–Kurigram route (continuing on to Dinajpur/Thakurgaon/Panchagarh/Nilphamari). Road distance from Dhaka is roughly 340 km, with a journey of around 9 hours.
