History & Background
Part of the Nazimgarh Resorts group, the Wilderness property is set at Lalakhal in Jaintiapur upazila, where the Sari River runs a distinctive turquoise-green over a limestone bed against a backdrop of the Khasi Hills bordering India. Built as an eco-friendly retreat rather than a conventional hotel, it was designed to give visitors direct access to boat trips on the river and views of the surrounding tea gardens and hills.
