History & Background
Inani lies about 30 km south of Cox's Bazar town along the Marine Drive road, a scenic coastal highway completed in stages through the 2010s connecting Cox's Bazar to Teknaf. Unlike the crowded main beach, Inani retained patches of natural coral rock scattered along its shore, remnants of the same reef system that reaches Saint Martin's Island further south, and has developed more slowly as a resort-hotel destination favored by visitors seeking a quieter alternative to the main town beach.
