Purba Bhogdaburi is a union of Domar Upazila, bordered by Dangapara to the west and Ketkibari Union to the east. The union has a police station (thana) located at Chilahati. It can be reached by following the broad-gauge railway line running from Dhaka toward Parbatipur-Saidpur, which terminates here — the last stop on that line.
